• Over 100 people came through Wallis Annenberg Hall to watch the Tuesday night vice presidential debate.

  • Before the debates began the event was opened with a panel. From left to right, the panelists included Christina Wilkes, a member of the USC College Republicans, Bob Shrum, a USC professor of the practice of practical politics, Tiffany Hoss, President of USC College Republicans and Matt Klink, partner of a public affairs firm.

  • Thirty minutes before the debate, Annenberg TV News aired. Anchor, Brittany Hope, did a live stand-up in the Media Center.

  • The debate was broadcast on the giant televison monitor in the middle of the Wallis Annenberg lobby.

  • Chairs were set up in the lobby for students, professors, and faculty to watch.

  • It was so crowded that many people stood and sat on the floor.

  • Others went to the second floor to watch the debates from the balcony.
