Increasing Accessibility to Healthcare Education: Encouraging Kalamazoo Youth to Explore their Passion in Medicine

I designed this poster about program I lead with a group of my medical school colleagues called HEAL (Health Education and Advocacy Link). This is a partnership program between the Kalamazoo Public School System and the Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine providing a free grant-funded longitudinal curriculum to 10th grade students consisting of monthly Saturday morning sessions during the academic school year.

Medical students facilitate each session with guest speakers, student mentorship, self-improvement skills workshops, team-based learning activities, and interactive clinical applications.
