The Influence of the COVID-19 "Infodemic" on Vaccine Hesitancy: A Prospective Survey-Based Study
July 28, 2023
I created this poster on a paper I wrote on the association between people's choice of media and their vaccination status published in the Journal of Medical Internet Research. In this paper we used an Internet survey asking respondents about specific outlets they receive their news from and their political leaning. Our results showed that those who consumed more liberal media were more likely to get vaccinated.
We presented our findings with this poster at the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) National Conference of Family Medicine Residents and Medical Students in Kansas City, Missouri July 2023.
